Buffalo, New York • Acoustic Duo

STONE SOUP

Harmony-driven Americana, folk roots and the songs you forgot you loved — served with two voices, one guitar and a healthy respect for a great story.

About Stone Soup

Two voices.
One good story.

Stone Soup is an acoustic duet built around close harmony, memorable songs and the kind of musical chemistry that turns a cover into a conversation. Their sets move comfortably through Americana, folk, classic country, roots rock and bluegrass — with enough unexpected turns to keep a room listening.

Rather than chase one narrow genre, Stone Soup follows the song: John Prine and Iris DeMent can sit beside Johnny Cash and June Carter, the Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Tyler Childers, Molly Tuttle and a left-field favorite that somehow sounds completely at home.

The result is familiar without feeling predictable — music made for breweries, listening rooms, patios, festivals, private events and any crowd that still likes a lyric with something to say.

Harmony First

Signature material such as “Teach Your Children,” “Handle With Care” and “Still the One” puts the blend of two voices front and center.

Stories With Teeth

Prine, Cash, Childers and other great storytellers give the set humor, heart, grit and characters worth meeting.

A Few Good Surprises

From “When Doves Cry” to “All These Things That I’ve Done,” Stone Soup likes finding the acoustic heart inside songs audiences don’t expect from a folk-roots duo.

The Duo

Keith + Lisa

Keith performing

Keith

Guitar, lead vocals and harmony. The grounding voice of the duo — equally at home with roots-country drive, a Prine story or a Dylan turn of phrase.

Lisa performing

Lisa

Lead vocals, harmony and percussion. Adds the lift, counterpoint and character that make Stone Soup’s two-part arrangements feel like true duets rather than backing vocals.
